Autumn Calabrese has for sure Italian ancestors, as her family name comes from “Calabria”, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. What I really like about her is passion. I decided to talk about Autumn because she’s a successful fitness coach, like many of my clients that are personal trainer or fitness enthusiast. Whenever you train your body without considering the possible setbacks, it’s very easy to ruin your voice as the diaphragm, the main respiratory muscle, is also trained by the exercises, but usually in a way that is incompatible with speaking.

Although most of my clients are from the business area, an increasing share comes from the teaching sector. The need to be heard effortlessly and especially to have an authoritative voice able to drive students even beyond the limits of plain explanation, is not that simple. You need a natural gift or to turn to the Inborn Voice method. This time I would like to emphasize that it is not for everyone to be authoritative.

This video testimony comes from the world of Yoga, always very attentive to proprioception and breathing. Unfortunately, attention is not enough to proceed along a correct path, especially when it comes to breathing connected to speaking. Overcoming difficulties, especially those related to voice and communication, is not easy. You need good guidance, a good teacher and a solid method.
