Retreat

Marrakech has always been one of the most fascinating cities in North Africa, where two faces coexist, apparently irreconcilable: the tradition that sinks its customs and traditions in ancient times and a more western lifestyle that is found in many boutiques, restaurants and a certain worldliness that you can breathe in many districts of the City.

Everything is discreet, hidden in the riads protected by the high walls of the Medina. A great Berber metropolis, Marrakech has had the honour of being an imperial city, as well as Fès, Rabat and Meknès, and its great past is testified by the sumptuous buildings that contribute to making it the Moroccan tourist capital.

Every day we meet new people. Many times we don’t even care about them, we just ignore them. Other times, a connection is made, a magical one, which leads to deepening the relationship. Those who follow me know perfectly well that “chance doesn’t exist”, so it is always good to be aligned with your Inborn Voice to make something magical happen.

A long time ago, one of these people, a client and a friend, invited me to spend some summer time in her house in Italy’s Costa Smeralda, the most beautiful and magical place of the Mediterranean see. I usually prefer to keep my privacy and I rarely accept such proposals. But that time my Inborn Voice took me to Costa Smeralda, to one of the places where all the myth of those places was born: in Porto Rafael, the Aga Khan eritage.

In the 2018/2019 season, I took Inborn Voice workshops focused on finding one’s vocal identity around the world. From the super exclusive location in Manhattan, New York City, with a spectacular view of the NewYork skyscrapers, to the City of London. Both cities are always keen on the latest trends and taking every opportunity to gain a competitive advantage. From the city of Paris to Marrakech, cities endowed with great charm and romanticism, I wanted and was able to bring my work to 3 different continents.

Of course I couldn’t miss a workshop in Milan, the city where my adventure in the world of voice and Vocal Coaching began.

South Africa is for sure one of the world’s top world destinations, being voted number 1 in the New York Times as “the must visit location”. On top of that, Cape Town is among the “Best Cities” of the World list.
