Assertive communication is the key to expressing your opinions and emotions with balance, respecting yourself and others. It helps manage conflicts, build trust, and improve every personal and professional relationship.

Expectations of CEOs, managers or team leaders are often failed by their subordinates. This happens all the time, and, as is easy to imagine, it is precisely the people in charge who are the first to seek a solution. Seeking a solution is a good thing, only if you managed to accurately identify the root cause of the problem. Believe it or not, 90% of the time the problem is a lack of Soft Communication Skill.

Sooner or later everyone comes face to face with an uncomfortable question. The interviewer who asks the awkward question may be a journalist, an employer, a lending institution, for example during the mortgage application process at the bank.
Inconvenient questions are those that seek to expose us, draw us out or catch us by surprise. All of these questions assume something we want to keep hidden, that we are not proud of, or that is inherently confidential or damaging in nature to us or those we represent.
There is no doubt that being prepared for all kinds of questions and interviews is critical, but it is even more so when we estimate that the answer will determine much of our future.
You’re probably looking for the art of avoiding answering uncomfortable questions, i.e. the ones you’re afraid will be asked, but here at Inborn Voice we prepare you for that and more.

Philosophy, psychology, and common sense have tried to give some kind of explanation as to why when we are in an altered state of aggression, fear, or joy, we tend to raise the volume of our voice disproportionately.
First of all, it is appropriate not to consider behaviors that may very well be “transmitted” or acquired by observing others. Certainly those who grew up in an aggressive environment may have learned that to intimidate people it is sufficient to raise the volume of the voice. A bit like howler monkeys, the one who screams the loudest usually has the upper hand not because his voice overpowers the others, but because typically those who have learned to use their voice aggressively have done so as a passive subject subject to the aggression of someone else and know perfectly well that it is good to be quiet and not respond when someone attacks us with words.

Born in 1972, she is a vocal coach. She has been living in Boston for a few years. She created the Inborn Voice method, considered the best in the field of vocal training and awareness by managers, as well as being considered a valuable soft skill by the academic world, including Bocconi and Cattolica Universities in Milan.

Normally every month I receive about a thousand emails from people who seek from me simple advices, impossible solutions or desperate requests for help. I usually receive emails from people who believe there are ready-made solutions, from more mature people who have understood the importance of speaking and want to make a positive change in their lives and careers, or from people who are simply curious about the Inborn Voice and want to experience it for themselves. Unfortunately, in May and June of this year, the emails asking for help have exponentially increased in number, a symptom of something serious and dangerous going on. When I receive these types of requests, I always try to offer my support, but in this case, it’s important to take it a step further and alert everyone of the situation.
