In Italy, there is an old saying that says “it’s easier to tease them than to make them understand”. This simply means that when communication between two people is not taking place at the same level, the less skilled usually find themselves letting others do the thinking. And you know better than me that anyone will think better for themselves than for you.
As I have explained in my book “the way of the voice”, the speed at which our brain operates is not that fast. Is actually really slow. It takes time to make all those connections ties and do the “thinking”, but it takes also a lot of energy. If our brain is fed with an “idea” that seems fair enough, it skips all the work and “believes” in other people thinking. During every conversation, the one with more “voice” skills, has more time to think and to turn the “slower” part as they prefer.

Autumn Calabrese has for sure Italian ancestors, as her family name comes from “Calabria”, one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. What I really like about her is passion. I decided to talk about Autumn because she’s a successful fitness coach, like many of my clients that are personal trainer or fitness enthusiast. Whenever you train your body without considering the possible setbacks, it’s very easy to ruin your voice as the diaphragm, the main respiratory muscle, is also trained by the exercises, but usually in a way that is incompatible with speaking.

Some parents’ behaviors affect their children’s lives and are much like a mark: they represent the pattern of behavior that the child will assume in adulthood. They are the root that is difficult to eradicate. They are the pod from which the seeds of the future will be born.

Some of these behaviors will be remembered and adopted, others will be rejected and opposed with great force, however influencing the lives of their children and their children’s children.

Children, even before looking at the world, learn to listen to it. All memories, the deepest and oldest imprints, are therefore auditory or “vibrational”.

I rarely need to explain the ultimate purpose of an Inborn Voice vocal coaching course. People who understand on their own how to improve their communication skills and their voice are the first step to improving their emotional and work skills, are also those who are sufficiently determined to achieve success.

One cannot understand with the mind a necessity of the spirit. However, it is worth explaining something for those who are in need of a help that they do not yet identify.

The point is to take control. Take control of your own personal space, of your own lives, and the way you express to others your feelings and ideas. There is only one way to do it: speaking.
