Developing Voice and Personal Charisma

BUSTO ARSIZIO – A medal as a city recognition for having brought the name of Busto Arsizio in the world: yesterday morning the mayor Emanuele Antonelli gave it to Milena Origgi, the vocal coach who in recent months has obtained the “green card genius” in the United States for her merits as an entrepreneur and for her innovative educational and cultural method Inborn Voice.

Today there is a new article about Mylena Vocal Coach who received an award from the Mayor of Busto Arsizio as the first Italian woman to receive an award for Outstanding Achievement at Work from the United States, in the field of Vocal Coaching.

There are actually quite some people who think this way. Usually they are sleazy or manipulative people. So is this skill something that really makes sense to learn? I mean, is “persuasion” to be considered a useful skill or just a way to mislead people?

Well, it all depends on what meaning you give to the word “persuade” and the ethics of the coach you’re dealing with. Certainly it is possible to learn techniques capable of influencing the way people, and even the masses, think. These are not techniques that I consider ethical and they certainly won’t get you anywhere. Being able to “control” weaker minds is not something to be proud of. These are techniques that are based on hypnosis, NPL or variations of the two. These are techniques that will never get you ahead in your career, in business, or in raising healthy children, because the prerequisite is dealing with weak minds. This has nothing to do with my work as a Vocal Coach, at least not what I teach my trainee.

Normally every month I receive about a thousand emails from people who seek from me simple advices, impossible solutions or desperate requests for help. I usually receive emails from people who believe there are ready-made solutions, from more mature people who have understood the importance of speaking and want to make a positive change in their lives and careers, or from people who are simply curious about the Inborn Voice and want to experience it for themselves. Unfortunately, in May and June of this year, the emails asking for help have exponentially increased in number, a symptom of something serious and dangerous going on. When I receive these types of requests, I always try to offer my support, but in this case, it’s important to take it a step further and alert everyone of the situation.

Today sees the release of an interview of mine that deals with a subject that is very close to my heart, that is what is defined as “personal brand” in today’s jargon. It is titled “Mylena vocal coach, personal brand to be expressed out loud“. In fact, my work has been intimately linked to the idea of “personal brand” for more than 20 years, and it is no coincidence that all my vocal coaching workshops are titled “Identity and Voice”. Even the most prestigious universities have recognized me as the pioneer and leading exponent, capable of connecting the world of voice to the world of business.
