As promised, here is a new training video.

I have received a lot of feedback over the social media about the first video preview and I would like to explain why I have started this interactive training video project about vocal coaching over Patreon.

First, a lot of people do not know, or worse they assume wrongly, what actually is a vocal coach. That’s mainly because of some TV show or Youtuber that features someone pretending to be a Vocal Coach. If you’re lucky they may just be singing teachers or musicians. The Vocal Coach is a specific professional figure that deal real voice training for acting, voice over, speaking, and yes, even high level singing. I am a bit of a maverick vocal coach as I tackle the voice all round, not only from the technical point of view but also from the emotional one. And this makes a huge difference in the outcomes, believe me.

Mylena has released numerous interviews and TV training videos over the years, and now she is releasing a brand new and exclusive series of Videos over Youtube and Patreon.

Mylena Vocal Coach training videos are not cheesy, they dig right into the session and they deliver exactly what people ask: a solid training that the audience can value and take home.

When I started this project I wasn’t aware of the HUGE amount of work involved in creating a video, but now I’m committed and I plan to release a new video every week. At present time all my new Vocal Coaching videos will be released for Patreon supporters only and they will be in English!

The most common question I’m asked, either in person or via email, is “I don’t understand what Inborn Voice is,” or “What’s the difference between Inborn Voice and the traditional vocal Coaching?

The simplest and most understandable answer is “Try to believe”. In fact, it only takes one session to understand how effective and different the Inborn Voice method is from what we are used to.

You will all have heard or spoken languages such as Italian, French or Spanish. I could also make the comparison with languages further away from ours, such as Japanese, but I think it is appropriate to consider Spanish as is the most widely spoken language in the world.

The words we use to describe an object, a situation or an emotion are “containers”, more or less precise, of an idea that is born and lives inside us.

Even if on television we continue to see press conferences and interviews of people who do not wear protective medical masks, which, let’s recall it, are more a defensive barrier not to infect others than to prevent our contagion, anyone who has worn one will have immediately realized that he or she has problems breathing, talking and, above all, making himself or herself understood.

Among the hundreds of emails I receive daily, lately I receive more and more from people who find it difficult to talk and be understood through a medical or surgical mask. Clearly if you use a gas mask, speech becomes even more complicated. Don’t be fooled by Hollywood movies, fiction is always far from reality.
