There is something both mysterious and powerful about words. Every sound we utter, every breath that beats out a sentence, can be compared to an enchantment. I remember a particularly significant episode during one of Mylena’s workshops. One of the participants, a shy and insecure young woman, was going through one of the most intense moments, in which she was trying to free her voice from all the emotional shackles that prevented her from fully expressing herself. During the workshop, Mylena asked her to say a simple word as a “mantra”. But it was not merely to be intended as a word, as Mylena explained to everyone. A Mantra is a formula, a personal spell. It is no different from a what people call an incantation. When we spell it with intention, we make it an evocation of who we really are, of our Inborn Voice, in this world. It’s an invocation of that hidden power!
